
No they are not hiring teachers to help teach children about solar power. Instead, their way of educating these students is through a curriculum that they had created themselves. They are calling it “Learning About Solar Power” and it seems like a real good guide to help teachers teach children about solar power and everything related to it.Dr. Laura Martin is the senior director for Arizona Science Center’s science interpretation on the curriculum from SunEdison, she shared, “A program like this, from the real-world,brings solar energy to life for students and also really allows them to develop an understanding of how energy profoundly affectstheir lives. This is technology being developed today for use now and in decades to come.”
On the end of SunEdison, Jigar Shah, one of the heads at the company, shared that his interest in solar power came when he was a teenager and so he believes that the curriculum is a good way to teach these students. The program would also help develop interest in these children.
